Sample items
On first launch you can choose to add eight sample items. Their photos were created for ColdSpot with AI image-generation tools and are used under those tools' terms. They are illustrations only and do not show real products or brands. You can delete them like any other item.
Product data from Open Food Facts
When you scan a barcode, the product name and category come from Open Food Facts, a free, open database built by contributors around the world. The database is available under the Open Database License (ODbL), and its individual contents under the Database Contents License. ColdSpot shows this data as-is and cannot guarantee that it is complete or correct. You can fix or add products at openfoodfacts.org.
Your content
The photos, names and notes you add are yours. We claim no rights to them and never receive them. They are stored on your device and, if you use sync, in your own iCloud. When you share your inventory, the people you invite can see and edit what you share.
Trademarks
Apple, iPhone, iPad, iCloud and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Open Food Facts is a trademark of Open Food Facts. Other names may be trademarks of their owners.
